So are
we, the Unitarians.
What is hope,
anyway?
Diwali - the banishment of darkness and the coming of light.
Hanukkah - the miraculous, unending nature of light when it is most needed.
Christmas - the revelation that redeeming light is intimately connected with being human.
Yule - even a lengthening night will eventually begin to shorten.
And what is worth keeping today from old narratives and metaphors of hope?
Our Unitarian hope lies in our experience - our experience that, somehow, everyone is loved. But still we keep asking questions.
Why do we feel the need to love and be loved?
Where does love come from?
What does love look like in the 21st century?
Come and meet us – we are asking you not telling you your
faith, and wanting you with us on our journey of hope.
